Green tint
A greenish cast that sometimes appears in deep storm clouds. Research has shown this is a lighting effect from sunlight scattering through the cloud's optical depth, not a signal of hail, water content, or storm hazard. Its folk association with severe weather reflects timing more than physics, since both are most common at low sun angles late in the day.
